what would a normal person's reaction be, when placed in such a situation? if the feelings i harbor deviate from normalcy i don't want to feel them. i won't recognize them at all. |

people, in most cases, can be likened to non-parallel lines. as we converge we attempt to change each other into the people we are, into the people we'd like to be, sparing nary a thought about the result of the assimilation of both parties' ideals. after which should the alteration turn unsavory we begrudge each other's divergence from the person we once knew and loved, forgetting that we ourselves were the original perpetrators of the change |

sometimes i feel as if i might be two different people at once. one of me is alive, happy. relishing every moment, including the sad ones. the other of me mopes and questions, is skeptical and disbelieving. but both parts are incredulous, because we fully acknowledge the futility. |
